The Fishing Port

historical zone

The Fishing Basin features a rectangular shape with three quays: the eastern quay is 67 metre long, the southern is 40 metre long and the western is 74 metre long.

Water depths in the basin range from 2.5 to 3.5 metres.

Right next to the fishing port lies the Puck Sea Scout Centre, with a fleet of keel yachts, dinghies and motorboats, plus a boatyard repair hall.

This is a truly unique place, also due to its historical significance. It is here that one of key moments in Poland’s history is commemorated. The yacht port is home to a symbolic wedding pillar, honouring the ceremony of Poland’s Wedding to the Sea in 1920, attended by General Józef Haller.
