Jan III Sobieski Castle

The Jan III Sobieski Castle is an imposing historical building, constructed in the Neo-Gothic style in the 19th century. The castle grounds were once home to manor houses associated with the Wejher, Radziwiłł and Przebendowski families, as well as King Jan III Sobieski himself, who visited Rzucewo for hunting trips. The current building was commissioned by the von Below family almost 200 years after the king’s death.

In 1994, the castle underwent a complete renovation and now operates as a hotel, offering a wide range of attractions. Guests can spend evenings in a cosy hunting lodge, taste fine wines in the castle’s wine cellar, enjoy horse riding or play tennis. They can also take a free tour to see a room dedicated to King Jan III Sobieski and a stylishly decorated library with information about the historical families of Rzucewo.
